It was this past summer that Chris had the opportunity to provide concrete on a large job site in Saugatuck Harbor on Lake Michigan. The project called for wall reinforcement on the line in the harbor to help prevent soli erosion.  The worked required the Concrete Mobile to be barge mounted along with the materials required for the job. The first barge had the concrete truck along with the sand and limestone on it. The second one had the cement in 2000lb bags, the water truck, a large crane and miscellaneous equipment.  It took 6 days on the 1200' South wall and 5 days on the 1500' North wall to pour a 5' wide by 1' thick slab the length of each wall. The barges had to be moved after pouring between 20' to 30' depending how close they were to the wall The Concrete Mobile and truck chassis were chained to the deck so the only item that literally moved was the swivel of the mixer and chute.        

“Our best day was 102 yards in an eight hour production run” and the old Dafiin and Truck kept up just fine stated Chris. Their expertise helped us throughout the project from start to finish and I can clearly see why they are the number one in the industry Chris went on to say.

It is often imitated and touted by others as to who the original is but there is no substitute for the “Concrete Mobile nor its improved big brother the Mobile Concrete Dispenser (MCD).
