Cemen Tech, the world’s leading manufacturer of volumetric concrete mixers recently conducted several successful production runs of pervious concrete for college students at
The demonstration was conducted on the MTSU campus where a Cemen Tech MCD10-150 successfully produced nine cubic yards of pervious concrete as over 200 students representing eight different class groups looked on. The demonstration was supervised by the University’s Program Director, Dr. Heather Brown and Alan Sparkman, Executive Director of the Tennessee Concrete Association. As a result, students who are genuinely interested in going into the concrete industry had received hands on experience as they watched and participated in learning how a volumetric mixer works and can be used in numerous applications.
Cemen Tech will also be providing a pervious concrete mix at the upcoming World of Concrete show in a live pervious demonstration. The demonstration will take place in the gold lot located across from the convention center.
