Cemen Tech sponsors World Center of Concrete Technology luncheon and forum

The World Center of Concrete Technologies (WCCT) will be offering a course on calibration and operation in 2011 for prospective and current volumetric mixer owners and operators. The WCCT is located on the campus of Alpena Community College where they conduct education, training, testing and research for concrete-related industries. The center also offers an Associate in Applied Science degree in Concrete Technology which is a unique 2-year college degree that provides students a hands-on approach to education in concrete technology.

The WCCT will be working in conjunction with Cemen Tech Inc, as well as Hanley-Wood in kicking off the program. A kick off luncheon and seminar will be held at the world of concrete for attendees. The seminar will be held on Thursday January 20th in room S221 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm.  The cost for the luncheon is $80 if you register by 12/09/10; $105 after 12/09/10 & onsite.  Rich Szecsy, chairman of ASTM C09.40 will be addressing the attendees and speaking about ASTM C685.
