All branches (except the Coast Guard) of the US Military own and operate Cemen Tech Mobile Concrete Dispensers. It started in 1978 when the US Army purchased 203 CONCRETE MOBILES. Over the years the US Navy and the US Air Force also purchased units. In the early 1990's the USAF contracted for specially designed trailer mounted Mobile Concrete Dispensers that could be transported in a C130 aircraft. Some of these units are still in use today, and are known as "Deployable Pavement Repair Systems" (DPRS). As larger transport aircraft have become available, the USAF has begun to add to their fleet of Mobile Concrete Dispensers by purchasing more standard trailer mounted MCD10-150's for transport in C17 and C5 aircraft.
FACT: Cemen Tech is the only volumetric mixer manufacturer certified to meet Mil Std 209 tiedown provisions for air transport. Click the following links to view the certifications:

In the mid 1990's the US Army began looking at replacing the 203 Concrete Mobiles they had purchased in the late 70's. Because of its history in supplying quality units to the military and a fully staffed in-house engineering department, Cemen Tech was selected as the manufacturer. A joint design effort was initiated between representatives of the US Army Engineering School at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri; the US Army Tank Automotive Command (TACOM) in Warren, MI; and Cemen Tech engineering staff (playing the lead role). This group developed a Rapid Deployment Concrete Dispenser (RDCD) that was fitted to an "A" frame standard flat rack which allowed the Concrete Dispenser to be quickly mounted/unmounted to an Osh Kosh five axle PLS chassis. This unit was thoroughly and rigorously tested at the US Army's Yuma Proving Grounds. After passing this testing, over 130 units were supplied to the Army.

The first production unit supplied under most equipment contracts with the US Military must undergo rigorous testing at either the US Army's proving grounds at Aberdeen, MD, or Yuma, AZ. It is known as the first article test. The first production unit is manufactured and then supplied to the military for rigorous testing. The unit is loaded and driven over unimproved roads in conditions that a normal unit would never see in its lifetime. From these tests and field experience our military has come to recognize Cemen Tech's proven quality construction and superior reliability. That is why the Mobile Concrete Dispenser is the unit of choice for our soldiers.
Recently Cemen Tech completed rigorous US Navy First Article Testing on a production run of trailer mounted MCD10-100 Mobile Concrete Dispensers being produced for the US Navy Seabees. One of the requirements was to continuously proportion and mix 30 cu. yds. of concrete in less than one hour. To do this the Mobile Concrete Dispenser was set up to pour into a concrete pump and be continuously reloaded as it produced at maximum capacity. This type of test puts maximum stress on all systems and gives a good indication of the reliability of the machine. The Cemen Tech Mobile Concrete Dispenser performed flawlessly and produced the required 30 cu. yds. of concrete in 53 minutes.
